TruAmerica’s Philanthropy Philosophy: Doing Good While Doing Well
TruAmerica and its employees believe that giving back to the community is key to being a responsible corporate citizen. Philanthropy is valued and encouraged across the organization. Employees are free to utilize volunteer time off with many of the TruAmerica employees having committed significant time and financial resources to support educational and non-profit programs.

Doing good while doing well

TruAmerica’s Community-Based Philanthropic Mission
In June 2023, The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles honored the life and philanthropic legacy of Bob E. Hart, TruAmerica Multifamily Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and President, at its annual Real Estate & Construction (REC) Network Dinner. The endeavor raised more than $3.3 million for the Federation, and highlighted the power of philanthropy by real estate professionals to support those in need in the Los Angeles community. The Jewish Federation provides vital and lifesaving services to care for the Jewish community in Los Angeles (including Holocaust survivors), helps keep Jews in Los Angeles safe from the rising tide of antisemitism, and works to build meaningful relationships and programs for Angelenos of diverse backgrounds. Mr. Hart’s selfless contributions were integral to the tremendous success of 2023’s REC Dinner. The record-shattering amount donated is a testament to Mr. Hart’s far-reaching and sustained charitable influence.
